Byron is an associate with Torry Lewis Abells LLP. He joined the firm as an articling student in 2013 and is developing a broad practice, advising clients in practice areas including Agribusiness, Banking and Finance, Business Law, Civil Litigation, Commercial and Residential Real Estate, and Wills, Estate Planning and Estate Administration.
Byron was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2014 after completing his articles with the firm and receiving his Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary in 2013. During law school, Byron interned at a family law firm, provided legal services to Student Legal Assistance, joined the Faculty of Law Sports and Entertainment Society, participated in the North American Salary Arbitration Competition and received recognition for his participation in a competitive mediation competition.
Prior to law school, Byron received his Bachelors of Arts with Honours from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where he played NCAA Division 1 Baseball. During his time as a student-athlete at UALR, Byron was on the Chancellor’s List, Dean’s List, and Sunbelt Conference Commissioner’s List.
Byron is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, Lethbridge Bar Association, and Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association. He is also a Director on the boards of both Baseball Alberta and the Lethbridge Bar Association.
