Profile and Experience:

James worked for two years as an intellectual property law clerk at an international law firm in Ottawa, Ontario.  He attended law school at the combined University of Detroit Mercy and University of Windsor law schools in Detroit, Michigan and Windsor, Ontario and obtained both Canadian and U.S. law degrees.  James then practiced with central Alberta’s premier business law firm and was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 2008.  James joined Torry Lewis Abells LLP in 2010.  Prior to law school, James helped operate a cash crop farming business in Minnesota.


Community Involvement:

James is very involved in the Lethbridge, Fort Macleod and Cardston communities, including:
