Ken’s preferred areas of practice is civil litigation of all forms with an emphasis on Serious Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice and Health Law, Estate Litigation and Disputes, Shareholder and Corporate Disputes, Professional Negligence Claims, and Agricultural Arbitration dispute (U.S venue).

Ken has practiced law in Lethbridge since 1975. He has conducted many trials, appeals, mediations and arbitrations. He continues a very active civil litigation practice.

He lectured for 15 years at the University of Lethbridge in the Department of Nursing and Health Sciences on topics related to medical law. In addition he has lectured extensively in areas of health law in the clinical and conference setting. He has also participated as a lecturer in seminars presented by the Legal Education Society of Alberta.

Involvement in the community and in the profession has lead Ken to participate as a member of the Alberta Press Council, the Lethbridge Community Foundation (as Director and Chair), the Lethbridge Bar Association (Past President), a Director of the Legal Education Society of Alberta, the Lethbridge Community Band Society, the Rotary Club of Lethbridge and many musical and arts organizations, to name a very few.
